Nestled on the banks of Lake White, our property has a storied past that dates back to the late 18th century. Originally part of a 700-acre tract claimed by John Winston from Virginia in 1799, the land has witnessed centuries of change and growth. It passed through the hands of notable figures like James Emmitt, the valley’s first millionaire, and was eventually developed into the Historic Lake White Club in 1938. Since then, we’ve been known far and wide for our delicious eats and stunning views.

Our downstairs area is a warm and inviting space where our guests gather to enjoy good food, great drinks, and even better company. Open to the public, this area is perfect for a casual night out, offering a full bar and food menu.

Guests can enjoy the tranquility of Lake White, the option to rent our pontoon boat, while still being steps away from the lively atmosphere of our downstairs bar and grill. It’s the best of both worlds—a private retreat with all the conveniences of a full-service bar just below.
